
M1 Partnership Launches New PLTW Brand.
October 10, 2009 – Culver City, CA – M1 Partnership announced today its selection by Project Lead The Way (Clifton Park, NY) to rebrand the organization and help it gain a greater level of awareness on a national level.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation’s leading provider of innovative and rigorous science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs for middle schools and high schools. Its mission is to ensure that America succeeds in the increasingly high-tech and high-skill global economy by partnering with middle schools and high schools to prepare students to become the most innovative and productive in the world. PLTW’s comprehensive curriculum, which is collaboratively developed by PLTW teachers, university educators, engineering and biomedical professionals, and school administrators, emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and real-world problem solving.
Since 1998, the nonprofit organization has grown to a network of almost 3,400 middle and high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia, enrolling over 300,000 students. More than 500,000 students across the country have taken at least one PLTW course and more than 10,000 teachers have been trained to teach PLTW courses.
M1 has been tasked by PLTW to develop a new identity system, sales collateral system and corporate website. Work on the assignments begins immediately.
